Welcome back, or if this is your first time to the EB Boudoir blog, I’m Emily! Resident intimate portrait photographer and your guide to all things boudoir! And the tip for today is all about how to help surprise your significant other.
There are a million and one reasons to be afraid and never take that leap of faith or plunge into booking your first session here at Denver boudoir.
But! I’ll tell you what – I’ve got the answer to all your queries so don’t be shy. We have many resources on my page to explore, so plug into my search button and ask me any questions you have.
I am a massive advocate for empowerment and self-love. Participating in this experience just for yourself is fantastic; however, giving the gift of boudoir is invaluable as much as it’s unique. One of the most common questions is ‘how can I hide this from my partner until the big reveal day!?‘ Let us paint the scenario.
Stories to Help You Surprise Your Significant Other
You’re worried about spoiling the big surprise for your significant other because You’re leaving the house with no makeup (not a usual thing for you), and then you come home with your hair and makeup done…wondering how to explain?
Firstly, please don’t take the makeup off! It’s a perfect date night!!
Fear, not my badass boudoir babe, I’m dishing out these helpful hints for you to make the best surprise possible! Let’s get into it!
If you’re a bride-to-be, you did a makeup trial!
It’s as easy as that. You booked in advance and are shopping around for a professional makeup artist for the big day. If you feel there will be follow-up questions, just be a tad prepared, but I’m assuming doubtful there will be questions. Less stress is always having a couple of answers in mind like location, the time, perhaps a name, etc.
Tell them you went to Sephora, and a new trainee offered to do your makeup for free to help practice if you’re not a bride-to-be. Now, your hair and makeup will look killer for our session (no trainee at Sephora would even be able to get your makeup as amazing as it will look, but would they even know that?!)
You felt like pampering yourself, so you got your hair and makeup done. I mean, I think that’s pretty self-explanatory. You do, you girl!
You wanted to get all fancy for a surprise date night!
This is a lovely opportunity to celebrate each other and enjoy a special night together. I’m pushing this date night here, as you can tell. Keep it unique to you. If a movie night and burgers are your jam, do that! But you’ll be a goddess while at it.
I guarantee the feeling you will have after our boudoir session will be the perfect energy to take into the evening and have a special date night planned. Your look, confidence, and thrill of doing something so new and exciting – you will have the opportunity to share that with your special someone. No one will complain, I’m telling you!
I hope that helps! But as I said, there are a million and one reasons not to book vs. to book your boudoir session.
Let’s do it! Let’s connect and talk about booking!
I’m here for you.
