Happy Wednesday, babe. Today I thought we could talk outfits. One of my all-time favorite things to talk about is how to pick your boudoir outfits.
I know what you are thinking, lingerie. Hun, I am here to tell you that Lingerie is not the only way to make your boudoir session sexy. I promise. There are so many other options, like fishnets or your favorite tee.
But, once you decide what you want to wear (and the many ideas I am sure you have!) I thought I would give you a little help on how to break it down on how to pick your boudoir outfits.
How to pick your boudoir outfits in 3 simple ways
Order In Advance | Don’t Wait
Babe, trust me on this one, as I see it happen all the time – order in advance.
There is nothing worse than when you are getting that outfit or outfits last-minute. We want this to be a fun experience, and when you are stressed about your outfit that can take away from the magic of the day and feeling like the goddess that you are. Less stress the better – so order in advance.
Another little tip- make sure that the outfits you pick aren’t too tight and that you feel sexy in them – if you don’t feel sexy in them, it will affect confidence and will show in photos – we want to avoid this!
Don’t Wear it Because You Think You Should
This is a big no-no. It is so important that you feel sexy on your day. Please don’t pick something because you think it’s something you should wear because Pinterest told you to, or your friend got in your head and convinced you what worked for them is the only way to do a boudoir outfit.
I am here to tell you that is not true. You need to go with what feels best for you, hun. It is my job to help you shine so I won’t mislead you, trust me on that one.
This session is about showing the authentic, sexy, and stunning women that you are. And the best way to do that is to wear something that represents YOU. Period.
Don’t Buy Lingerie Just Because
The single most important thing for you to keep in mind is to stay true to yourself when picking your outfit. We want this session to celebrate who you are, whatever that looks like for you and you alone!
So babe, if Lingerie is not your thing – Don’t buy it!
There is no right or wrong here and we want you to see yourself in these beautiful images. So, whether that be a set of fishnets like I mentioned above, or maybe it’s even your boyfriend’s t-shirt, whatever it is – all that matters is you feel like a badass babe when you get in front of the camera.
