Reconnection with yourself is a super important component of boudoir for me. I feel reconnection with who you are and reconnection with your beauty is vital to be happy in life as a woman.

After seeing my work some ladies have stated, “Oh, I could never look like the girls I see on your website.” They believe that everyone is a paid model and the truth of the matter is, I’ve only worked with two professional models and I hardly show their work. Not that they weren’t amazing to work with, but the simple fact is that my clients are just as stunning as any woman you see gracing magazines today.

It’s amazing, but we actually don’t know what we TRULY look like to others. Not really… I mean sure- we peer at ourselves in the bathroom mirror daily, maybe even take an impromptu selfie here and there, but we don’t see what others see. That’s why boudoir imagery is so great. We get to see how our partners or loved ones see us, and that can be a super empowering thing when you work with the right photographer.

Ms. R, who we will be sharing her empowering photos of today, is the reason I do what I do. She felt the same way when coming to her shoot. She hadn’t felt confident in her looks in a while but after seeing her photos, she got it all back.

I want women of all ages to be reminded that your beauty isn’t created from your age, your size, or status. It’s simply by you and how you feel about yourself.

What/Who made you decide to book a boudoir session?

Emily’s VIP Group and my female friend’s encouragement to do something for ME!

How did you hear about and why did you choose Emily Brault?

I heard through the Facebook Group. Her photos are AMAZING!!

Did anything change about the way you see your own beauty/sexuality/body confidence as a result of the session?

I was amazed that it was actually me in the photos. I thought I looked beautiful and haven’t felt that way in a very long time.

How did the session make you feel?

Very comfortable.

What specifically was your favorite part of the experience and why?

Being pampered during the photoshoot and the reveal!

Anything we could have done to make the experience better?

Not a bit!
