Sometimes we need a little boost to our confidence but aren’t sure what will do the trick. We can try to change our hair or the way we do our makeup but what if I told you.. that you’re perfect just the way you are. Because it’s true. And those words are the foundation of my boudoir philosophy. Boudoir isn’t about changing yourself to fit some societal idea of beauty. It’s about embracing your uniqueness and harvesting your confidence. 

We’re constantly being bombarded with images that try and tell us how we should look, act and feel. But to heck with all of that! Confidence is a guaranteed one-size-fits-all. And it’s my goal to ensure that my clients get their fair share of it. Take Mrs. C as a perfect example of this. She wanted a gift for her husband– and what she got was truly a gift for herself, too. So if you think boudoir is just about the photos, think again. Here’s what Mrs. C had to say about her shoot!

#1 Booking The Session

What/who made you decide to book a boudoir session?
Initially, I booked it as a wedding present for my husband. Once I had the experience once, I became addicted to the confidence and talent that Emily brings! You leave a session feeling absolutely beautiful.

How did you hear about and why did you choose Emily Brault?
I heard about Emily through the Facebook Group. I chose her based off of her personability she portrayed and the beautiful images she posted of all types of beautiful women.

#2 Session Experience

Did anything change about the way you see your own beauty/sexuality/sensuality/body confidence as a result of this session?
ABSOLUTELY. I still look back at my photos I’ve done when I need to put a smile on
my face, because I remember that feeling of confidence and beauty that I felt during/after I left!

How did the session make you feel?
The session makes you feel like you are on top of the world and can tackle whatever the world is going to throw at you. You feel confident, you feel sexy and you just feel like there’s an extra pep in your step- for DAYS.

What specifically was your favorite part of the experience, and why?
The shoot itself was my favorite part. I felt so comfy with Emily, even though I just met her. She makes sure you know that you’re going to feel silly, she’s going to be silly with you, but then you leave and think “I’m one BA lady”. Then once she reveals the photos to you, it’s just solidified.

Anything we could have done to make your experience better?
Absolutely nothing!

If you were to recommend us to your best friend, what would you say?
I have told my best friends about this experience. I tell them how amazing Emily is
as a person, and a photographer, and the everlasting positive effects these photos
have!

Emily is AMAZING. I can’t wait for multiple more shoots and experiences with her.
