A Boudoir shoot post cancer? I’ll admit, Ms. S was one of the most rewarding and emotionally inspired shoots I’ve done in a long time.

This remarkable, strong, and ridiculously stunning woman is a proud and resilient Cancer survivor based in Denver. During her shoot, she said that she has many followers who are going through a similar choice that she had to make. Do you go through restructuring surgeries to rebuild your breast after a mastectomy, or do you let it be?

Ladies, there is no right or wrong answer- but I feel she’s gorgeous and strong in her choice and I’m thrilled she’s decided to chat a bit about it on this testimonial.

What/who made you decide to book a boudoir experience with EB BOUDOIR?

I wanted to capture the strength of my body post cancer.

Did anything change about the way you see your own beauty/sexuality/sensuality/body confidence as a result of this session?

Yes! I don’t spend a lot of time looking at my scars. Seeing them in the photos gave me all the feels. The images show a strong, beautiful person that has been through a lot, but who is also thriving. It’s one thing to tell yourself that, but it’s another to see it in art.

How did you hear about and why did you choose Emily Brault?

Internet search. I mostly chose Emily because she seemed to have the right vibe. I could tell that she is both professional, warm, and fun.

How did the Denver session make you feel?

Great! Emily is such a professional. I felt safe and confident throughout the session.

What was your favorite part of the EB Boudoir experience and why?

Seeing the photos! I could never have achieved these photos on my own. iPhones have come a long way, but it takes a professional to help with the posing, lighting, and editing. I am obsessed with the results!

Anything we could have done to make the Denver Boudoir experience better?

No. It was perfect.

I definitely recommend booking Emily for a boudoir shoot. Emily is the perfect combination of warm and competent. She will make you feel comfortable and confident during your shoot, and the photos will turn out beautiful. I really appreciate how Emily listened to me and asked questions in order to design the experience around my vision. We were like a team throughout the process and I highly recommend booking Emily!
