When to book a boudoir session… This is a very popular question I’m asked a lot from my Denver boudoir clients. Is there a certain event or holiday you’re trying to time your boudoir shoot with?
Boudoir photographs are perfect gifts for your groom on your wedding day, a birthday gift, or anniversary gift!
Obviously, my main goal is this Denver Boudoir Experience to be all for you! Your partner can certainly enjoy and benefit from it as well. But let’s take a peek at what would work best for you and when to book a boudoir session.
The Perfect Groom’s Gift
If you’re a bride and you’re planning a special gift for your groom. What better gift could you get than sexy photos of his soon-to-be wifey?!
My suggestion for my Denver Brides is to book your session about two to three months prior to your big day. This is even if you don’t plan on doing a payment plan. Why? Because, when I used to photograph weddings, my beautiful brides were always stressing that final month before their wedding. I don’t want your boudoir experience to be during that stressful frenzy leading up to your wedding! It should be fun and something you can really enjoy every moment of it.
Make it a fun girls day out and make it a BRIDE PARTY! Bring your bridesmaids in with you during your shoot and have them sign up for some mini sessions! You and your bride tribe will have your hair and makeup done, strike some poses with some yummy mimosas, and then head out for a fun day of shopping! You’ll be all set and ready for the day with your hair and makeup already done! What better way to say THANKS to your gal pals for supporting their perfect bride?!
Boudoir Birthday Present
Now, if this is a gift for you on your birthday, do it ON YOUR BIRTHDAY! That’s when to book a boudoir session if you’re celebrating another rotation around the sun. Boudie Birthday, girl!!
Take a day off work, come get pampered, and then rock your session. Confidence will be flowing all day long and guess what?! Your hair and makeup will be all set and ready for your partner to take you out to your birthday dinner!!
If this is a gift for someone else, try to book your shoot 6-8 weeks prior to the day you’d like to have your order in hand.
Just Because Your Awesome
Don’t really have a specific reason to book your boudoir shoot other than you want to do it?! Then hell yes babe! I love you ladies a lot. It’s time to take a break and do something for you!
For shoots like these, we can check the calendar and book whenever would work best for you. Want to do a shoot asap, we can look and see how soon we can get you in! Want to do something a little further out?! No problem. So long as it’s within the same calendar year (or no longer than 6 months out.)
