Have you tried to go out of the house without a stitch of makeup on? I don’t know about you, but it scares me when I tried to do this. I felt naked, and nothing like myself. But when did makeup define who I was? Why is natural untouched beauty so terrifying?

When I was at Camp Do More this past June, a friend and colleague of mine approached me and started chatting to me about the idea of a Raw Boudoir Shoot. There would be no hair or makeup professionals and 100% natural. No makeup, no hair styling (aside from maybe taking a brush through the locks) and that’s it.

The ideal completely intrigued me. The following morning, my gal pal went ahead and had me model for her in one of these Raw Shoots. I was terrified, but empowered. Seeing yourself in your natural state completely “as-is” and feeling beautiful is a powerful thing.

So, I decided to join the cause… THE RAW PROJECT: Real Authentic Women. I offer these amazing Raw Boudoir Sessions to those brave ladies who dare to prove their real beauty to themselves.

#1 Booking The Session

What/who made you decide to book a boudoir session?
This was my third session with Emily, each session has been slightly different but all have been such an amazing experience. My most recent session was a raw boudoir photo shoot with no hair or makeup or editing. The session allowed me to push my normal boundaries of hiding behind makeup and was fun and freeing!

How did you hear about and why did you choose Emily Brault?
I was recommended to Emily by a friend, and I chose her because of her pure talent and I just clicked with her right off the bat.

#2 Session Experience

Did anything change about the way you see your own beauty/sexuality/sensuality/body confidence as a result of this session?
Absolutely!!! This session of them all made a huge impact on the way I view my own natural beauty. It makes me feel confident, sexy, naturally appealing, and unique.

How did the session make you feel?
I felt powerful and beautiful. Real and genuine.

What specifically was your favorite part of the experience, and why?
My favorite part is just being in the moment and doing whatever I can to feel fierce. My second favorite part is always the reveal session!

#3 Post Session

Anything we could have done to make your experience better?
I love shooting with Emily and I think the experience was perfect!

If you were to recommend us to your best friend, what would you say?
I’d say it’s worth investing in yourself and to do a shoot with emily is creating a timeless memory that you can hold onto and look back on forever. A reminder to love yourself as you are and see how sexy you can truly be! Anyone can!

Let me really drive something in here that Mrs. R totally touched based on that I agree with 100%… ANYONE CAN BE BEAUTIFUL AND SEXY.
